It is made in the typical standard of Barbie products, durable, but with Barbie occassionally needing hip replacement or a head transplant.And, if you don't like to pick up lots of small pieces, you won't enjoy cleaning Barbie's room, either. She LOVES playing with it, and I enjoy watching her spend hours role-playing with Barbie. But, overall, it is worth owning just for the simple joy of watching a child at play. I purchased Barbie and her Bedroom for my daughter for Christmas. She wanted it so badly, because she wanted the bed with the computer and cell phone.
Other than that it's ok. This is an okay piece of Barbie furniture but the canopy part of the bed is made rather flimsy. Not sure how long that part will last.
Always have gotten great prices below retail and still am overall a dedicated amazon customer. I received a barbie and her bed but wasn't the one in the picture that I had originally wanted but due to the fact it was so close to Christmas I wrapped it up for my daughter anyway. Other than this one instance I have never had a problem with an item being broken, wrong item or not on time.
Barbieis nice too. Bed is very nice and pretty sturdy. Bought this for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas with the sofa and bathtub. Daughter loves them.
They need to do much better. Its like a dollar store toy not what I would expect from Mattel. My daughter was given this set for her 6th birthday. I thought it was really cute however, the bed is so flimsy it just falls apart when she plays with it.
